Position Summary:
Will measure, mix, and freeze ingredients to make frozen desserts. Ideal candidate must be interested and willing to assist in all facets of crafting high quality gelato and sorbet. Must practice good hygienic, responsible, and hard working. In addition, the ability to multitask and produce large quantities of product is critical. The candidate must possess the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Capable of following recipes accurately.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand and work for long hours and perform other physically
- demanding tasks on a daily basis.
- Follow directions confidently and precisely.
- Communicate effectively and directly with supervisors and colleagues.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of kitchen, including dry storage, walk-ins, and dairy
- fridge.
- Compliance with all Food Safety Standards is mandatory.
- Food industry experience.
Reports to Production Manager.
